Washington Spirits Month 2025 - A Growing Tradition

September marks the return of the third annual Washington Spirits Month. What began as a recognition of a young but ambitious initiative has quickly grown into a statewide celebration of the people, place, and terroir that makes Washington’s spirits distinct.

It’s no coincidence this celebration falls in September. Harvest season has always carried significance here—when farmers bring in the grain and fruit that become the foundation of our work. Just as Washington’s winemakers and brewers have built legacies from what this land provides, distillers are adding our own chapter to that story. With more than 150 distilleries across the state, Washington is now firmly on the map as a place of innovation and craft.


This month is about more than raising a glass. It’s about honoring the community behind every bottle: the growers, the distillers, and the retailers who bring Washington spirits to tables and bars across the state. It’s a moment to connect with one another and share the artistry of our region. At Westland, we’re proud to be part of this movement.
