Peat Week has never been for the faint of heart, but instead a clamorous celebration of smoke. It has always been a jubilee of strong opinions, louder laughter, and the joyful chaos that erupts when smoke lovers gather under one roof. Peat Week at Westland is historically a heavily peated whiskey release and also a slew of boisterous events around the said release. It is a week where the Westland tasting notes turn into roars, where friendships are tested over phenols, and where the line between rivalry and revelry blurs playfully.

After a long hiatus, Peat Week returns to Westland. This grand return feels like the curtain rising once more on a beloved production. The visual and written language around our Peat Week whiskeys has always been inspired by circus performance, and has remained a beloved favorite from our internal team and customers alike. And so alas, Peat Week returns in February of 2026: the crowd roars, the lights blaze, and the smoke drifts through the air.
