Westland Coffee | Westland Cocktail

The Westland Coffee highlights the richer coffee notes and fruity esters within Westland Flagship. This is a nod to Seattle being the birthplace of second wave coffee. Roasted malt, as used in the Westland Flagship, brings out the flavors of the barley, much like the process of roasting coffee beans. The ingredients and flavors are all well known and loved, with the richness and texture of espresso speaking to the Espresso Martini fans. But adding cherry and Cointreau into the mix, this cocktail feels adventurous without alienating. The Westland Coffee is a fun drink, and can be a perfect dessert course option, as a pairing or simply in lieu of sweet treat.

Westland Coffee
Ingredients
1 ½ oz / 40ml Westland Flagship
½ oz / 15ml Cointreau
¼ oz / 7.5ml Luxardo Cherry Syrup (from the jar of cherries)
1 oz / 30ml Coffee (Espresso / Strong Cold Brew)

Method
Combine all ingredients in mixing tin and dry shake. Shake hard with lots of cubed ice. Fine strain over cubed ice into rocks glass and garnish with a cherry
