The Path Forward: Changing the Whiskey Landscape

14 years of distilling whiskey — over a decade of asking about the possibilities of our unwritten future, and distilling to make a difference. As we conclude B Corp Month in 2026, we wanted to note that it doesn’t stop here.

Our rack houses today stand proudly with over 8,000 casks, filled by hand one cask at a time. Each idea we have had and task we have accomplished has been entirely about shaping the future of whiskey. The overarching frame for all of B Corp Month is less about the pillars and measured accomplishments of our business and more about how we want to invest in the future. B Corp Month has an end date, but our commitment continues forward.

It started with an idea. American Single Malt. One small idea that has grown and become its own life force. We wanted to try something completely unique, made in a specific time and place. We introduced an entirely new mashbill to this industry. We asked questions. We sought flavor at every corner. We met directly with farmers and grain breeders and put our heads together to change the way things have been done in the past. We took each step forward with a bright hope that there can be something beautiful in the future. The whiskey landscape looks different because of all the people we met along the way, including our customers.
