The first and only vatting of Winter was released in 2016. For those who enjoyed the first release, you may faintly yet fondly recall a foundational feature that paired peat with Oloroso Sherry.
As a nod to this construction, Winter 2025 again finds peat fortified, framed, and further diffused so the character may cast a mood rather than move mountains. That is to say, the pockets of port and peat arc towards subtlety surrounded by refill Westland casks.
