Cask #3824 is made from our signature 5-malt gain bill and spent the majority of its life maturing in a new American Oak cask before finishing for three months in a 1st-fill ex-rum cask. The rum's sweetness provided an intriguing counterpoint to the bitternesss of the oak, lending this whiskey a beautifully soft texture and a long finish.
NOSE: Demerara sugar, chocolate orange, medium roast coffee, wax and unique aromas of coconut ice cream and raisin sauce
